Please note that the deadline to submit questions has passed, I hope you'll look for AN ELM CREEK QUILTS COMPANION in Fall 2013!
I'm working on a new book for publication in Fall 2013: An Elm Creek Quilts Companion. In this reader's guide to the Elm Creek Quilts series, I plan to include brief character biographies, a Bergstrom family tree, descriptions of significant places and things, illustrations of quilt blocks—and an interview with the Elm Creek Quilters. Do you have a question you've been longing to ask Sylvia, Sarah, Agnes, Gwen, or another favorite member of their illustrious circle of quilters? Send it to me by Sunday, October 21, and your question (and your name!) may appear in the book!
Here's how to participate:
1. Send an email to ### using the subject line “Interview Question.”
2. Provide your name, city, state, and country.
3. Identify the character to whom your question is directed.
4. Ask your question.
5. Copy and paste the following statement in your email: “Jennifer Chiaverini and Plume have my permission to use my question, my name, and my location in An Elm Creek Quilts Companion and in any material used to promote the book.”
Here is an example:
“My name is Jennifer Chiaverini and I live in Madison, Wisconsin. My question is for Summer. Summer, why didn't you enroll in graduate school somewhere closer to the Elm Creek Valley so you could still work at Elm Creek Quilt camp part time? Jennifer Chiaverini and Plume have my permission to use my question, my name, and my location in An Elm Creek Quilts Companion and in any material used to promote the book.”
I look forward to reading your questions—and discovering what the Elm Creek Quilters have to say in response!
