Kenosha, WI

April 4 @ 5:00 pm CDT

Jennifer Chiaverini returns to the well-loved circle of Elm Creek Quilters to illuminate a nearly forgotten jubilant moment in women’s history during the trying years of the Great Depression. In chapters alternating between 2004 and 1933, “The World’s Fair Quilt: An Elm Creek Quilts Novel” stitches together a story of sisterhood and sibling rivalry, guilt and resentment, forgiveness and peace.
Join Jennifer Chiaverini in Kenosha at Northside Library at 5 p.m. on Friday, April 4th, 2025. We will be starting the event with a show and tell from local quilters, then hearing from Jennifer about her latest book in the Elm Creek Quilts series! Jennifer will also be taking questions from the audience and signing book. This event is free, but registration is required. Register here: https://www.blue-house-books.com/events/1801320250404
SHOW OFF YOUR QUILT DURING THE SHOW & TELL:
Twenty participants are welcome to bring in a quilt to share with Jennifer and her readers! It can be one you made, a gift you received or a family heirloom. Be prepared to give a 2-to-3-minute description of the quilt and why it’s your favorite. Everyone who participates will be entered into a giveaway!
You must sign up to participate and there are only 20 spots available. Sign up by purchasing this “ticket,” and choose “store pickup” at checkout. Don’t forget to still also sign RSVP for the event at the button below! Join the Quilt Show & Tell here: https://www.blue-house-books.com/item/WIdogLxePUnmB7MlaieBuA
