Description
A Hawaiian getaway is the theme for Jennifer Chiaverini’s novel The Aloha Quilt. Small mock Hawaiian appliqué blocks that appear hand-stamped are produced as running yardage – (28) 6″ blocks per 24″ repeat. These blocks can be cut to use individually as part of a quilt block but would also make terrific pockets on a bag! A row or two of blocks will make unique quilt borders but will also look wonderful sewn along the bottom of a tablecloth or as a window valance. Cut a four or six-block section for pillows and add a flange or ruffle from a coordinating print. Coordinate prints are provided in several scales and tonal values. A unique, tonal petroglyph print contains motifs that look like they were pulled directly from hardened lava flows.
